JerseyPolitics.com was officially launched on Friday, October 30th 2004. JerseyPolitics.com
is here to serve as an alternate source for New Jersey political news, opinions,
columns and interviews. The JerseyPolitics.com staff consists of former aides,
campaign aides, advisors, and insiders to many New Jersey elected officials.
Although, we are a nonpartisan political website, like any member of the media
we do have our likes and dislikes. They vary from JerseyPolitics.com staff member
to staff member. In the interviews we conduct, we will purposely try our best
to ask our candidates/officials the toughest and most uncomfortable questions
possible. Even if we agree with the candidate/official, we will still give him
or her a difficult time. JerseyPolitics.com believes that to serve in public
office, one must be prepared to answer any question to the truest of his or
her convictions. If we have trouble with a candidate or official, we will have
no problem blasting the individual in our JerseyPolitics.com editorials. In
addition, JerseyPolitics.com has also set a goal to give as much coverage to
third party candidates as we do to Republicans and Democrats. We believe that
everyone running for office should be covered and their views should be heard.
